Section 2 Rhodesian Ridgeback Hunt Trial Overview
Section 2.1 The Rhodesian Ridgeback Hunt Trial is a system that evaluates the four domains (as further defined in section 4) of Ridgeback hunting: Class 1 - Birds, Class 2 - Small Game, Class 3 - Medium Game, and Class 4 - Large Game. To ensure that the dog possesses the minimum standard instincts and responses to safely begin training for a given trial, a dog will qualify (essentially a precertification) in each of the four domains (hereafter referred to game-classes) before being allowed to participate in a trial for that game-class. Each game-class is trialed, separately. Each game-class is considered a leg of the Champion title.
