The HRA is not a registry, it is not even a true trial sanctioning body.

The HRA is simply a database for use by other Ridgeback Groups and State and Regional Ridgeback Clubs.

For the purpose of ensuring equity, consistency and continuity across groups and breed/specialty clubs, it serves as a repository for standardized regulations for the Hunting Trials of the Rhodesian Ridgeback, and as a database for the titles and qualifications achieved by individual dogs.

The HRA does not charge any fees or have individual 'memberships', but rather participating clubs cover all of their own event expenses. Still Picture and Motion Picture photography are expressly forbidden at HRA compliant events/hunts. The HRA covers its operating expenses through the sale of title certificates and pictures/video of individual dog performance at the events/hunts.
